Lily

Here we grow again! Another first birthday has rolled around way too quick. This time it is for the adorable Miss Lily. Her gorgeous newborn session was one of the many that didn't get blogged while my previous blog was not working, so I've included a few of my favorites from her newborn session below, along with her 1st birthday session we did yesterday. While I love all the babies I get to take portraits of, Lily is one of those special ones that mean a little more. Anytime I get the honor of shooting a couple's engagement portraits, then their wedding and their children's newborn portraits, it always means a lot to me that I'm entrusted with these milestone moments. It is a joy to watch the evolution of a family through the years. 

Lily was full of herself and all smiles through out her session. She was a trooper during the outdoor portion as it was a bit chilly, especially with the wind. But the smiles really came out when we went inside for a few more portraits, and then the cake smash. While she didn't make a huge mess, she was all about that cake, and truly enjoyed herself and the attention she was getting from us. Happy Birthday sweet Lily! Looking forward to watching you grow through the years!
