Blake & Gavin

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Two is better than one couldn’t be more true with the adorable Blake and Gavin. Just 9-days-old during our session, Blake and her slightly smaller brother Gavin, were two little cuddlebugs that were more than happy to snuggle together. Gavin did like to express his opinion from time to time, while Blake took the role of the laid back sibling and snoozed through it all. The biggest issue I faced with this duo was putting them down long enough to take their portraits.  Enjoy!

Also wanted to give thanks to Sondra Dietz of Leben Photography for her baby wrangling assistance and doing a great job of keeping these two sweeties happy and in place!

Braxton & Jaxon

Meet Braxton and Jaxon. These two guys were the wonder twins . Okay, I know the real wonder twins wore purple costumes and were brother/sister but go with me here… These boys were wonderful to work with. Cute and sleepy and very willing to stay posed all cuddled up to each other. Especially the very laid back Braxton. The few times his brother did raise a fuss, he just snoozed right through it. Only thing cuter than one sleeping baby is two sleeping babies!

Arianna & Kaelynn

I’m a day late, but Happy Mother’s day to all you incredible women out there that make this world go around! I chose to hang up my workaholic hat and spend the day with the beautiful mother of my children. But now that it is a new day, the hat is back on and a new blog post is ready. And in celebration of motherhood, I wanted to share a recent session with newborn twins Arianna and Kaelynn. These two angels were a dream to work with. To make the session all the better, I had my friend and talented photographer Misty Keller on hand as a baby wrangler, to help calm the girls and get them in position. With her help, the girls slept peacefully and transitioned from one pose to another with little to no fuss. I’m blessed to have been able to work with these girls, and their wonderful mother.
