Lincoln’s turning 1

Tuesday, September 12th, 2017

One is the number of the day (yes, Sesame Street is on a constant loop in out house these days) and this time it’s Lincoln’s big first birthday. This handsome fellow was a bit reserved at first, but opened up quickly and his facial expressions were a hoot. Not to mention, he is quite the dapper dude. And when it came time for cake, he wasn’t as completely into smashing it, but he sure had fun with it. I hope you have a great first birthday Lincoln!

Kingsley

Thursday, August 3rd, 2017

It has been a while since I’ve cross paths with a newborn girl, but that finally changed this past weekend when I had the pleasure of meeting little Miss Kingsley. She was an absolute angle to work with, making the most adorable newborn sounds and happily snoozing through most of the session. And when she was awake, she was a calm and sweet photographer’s dream. The joy she brings into this world was evident on her parent’s faces and I look forward to watching the love between them grow.

Spencer & Audrey

Tuesday, July 25th, 2017

Had a blast on a recent Sunday afternoon with Spencer and Audrey as we did some engagement portraits to celebrate their up-coming November wedding. There was no shortage of laughter and making faces between the two of them. Their comfort with one another and general easy going attitudes is going to make their wedding day a whole lot of fun. Their session took place at the front end of this latest heat wave, so to be able to end the session with some play time in the Harpeth River made it all the better. Congratulations Spencer and Audrey!

Tye turns One!

Tuesday, June 27th, 2017

Time for another birthday! This time it is Tye, and again we are left wondering where another year has gone. This sweet boy almost always has a smile on his face. I say almost because as you’ll see below, a popped birthday balloon is no smiling matter. I will give him credit, where most 12 month-old kids would have started screaming when a big balloon pops in their hands, Tye kept his composure and didn’t shed a tear, but he made sure his big pouty lip let everyone know he was not happy. But within minutes he was all smile again, mostly laughing at his silly sisters, Carson and Claire. Always love spending time with this family and have enjoyed being part of their memories since Carson was a few days old. Till next time…Nashville Children's Portraits

Parker & Carson

Sunday, May 14th, 2017

First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there that give so much of themselves day in and day out. One of those mothers happens to be mom to Parker and Carson, two adorable boys who are always a treat to work with. And we all know moms of boys have to be extra special to put up with all the antics we put them through. These two were full of smiles, and between a few wrestling matches we even managed a few portraits where it looked like they have a peaceful relationship. Those moment we short lived before they would end up in a tangle of giggles as they tried to out tickle one another. To top of their entertaining session, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful May afternoon down by the lake.
