Brandon & Brooke

Friday, July 16th, 2010

Once this week’s rains finally cleared I was able to spend an afternoon with this wonderful family. I’ve been doing Brandon and Brooke’s portraits since they were newborns and it is always a delight to spend time with them again and see how much they’ve grown. Brandon always amazes me with facts you would never expect a five-year-old to know and Brooke just keeps getting more beautiful. Already looking forward to next time you two!

Cousins

Sunday, July 11th, 2010

Summertime is a time of fun and family, and for kids that often means spending more time with their cousins. Such is the case with these two, Ella and Shayla. Ella is adorable and full of life and questions and just loves Shayla. Enjoy the summer together girls!

Getting caught back up on a few things during these busy times, but wanted to take a moment to share a few images from a recent session with a wonderful family. We did the session at the always beautiful Knoxville Arboratum and Botanical Gardens and even included Dolly the dog.

Carson

Friday, May 14th, 2010

It’s like deja vu all over again. Two Carson’s in one week, in back to back sessions. This Carson has been here before though, and is now celebrating her first birthday. She was all over the place, quite confident in her walking, and happy to show her pleasure in everything she did with a big round of applause for herself. It is so wonderful getting to watch these babies grow up and develop their own personalities!

Carson thought the family portrait should be a little bit more about her.

Hannah & Seth

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

Taking advantage in the clearing rains, I was finally able to get in this session with Hannah and Seth and their mom and dad. We had been rained out once, and looked like we would be rained out again, but the clouds parted and the sun came out, giving us perfect weather. These two were great in front of the camera, and I think Seth has to be one of the happiest kids I’ve ever met. He was constantly smiling, and laughing all the time. And his happiness was infectious, which is such a wonderful thing! Hannah let out her inner model and had fun making her brother laugh, which wasn’t hard to do. Take a cue from Seth, and SMILE.
