Nic & Danielle

Monday, January 23rd, 2017

Christmas came a day early for Danielle this past year when her boyfriend Nic popped the question on December 24th. And of course, the answer was a resounding yes. Jump ahead a few weeks and we took advantage of a very mild January weekend to get some engagement portraits in to mark the special occasion. The planning of their September farm wedding is well under way, and I’m sure it will be an amazing day. Congratulations Nic and Danielle!!!

Chris and Alyssa | e-session

Monday, June 27th, 2016

I had an absolute blast on Chris and Alyssa’s engagement session as we tromped around the horse farm they work at on a beautiful, but warm, summer evening. I’m looking forward to their October wedding, and not just for the cooler weather. I’ve know Chris and Alyssa since the past October when they joined CrossFit Mt. Juliet. It has been amazing watching their journey to a healthier lifestyle and seeing the changes they’ve both made. Both are incredibly hard working, dedicated individuals and together you can just see the love they share. And being on a horse farm, we couldn’t leave out their horses, Sid and Porkchop, both of which did their part in making the portraits memorable. Congratulations Chris and Alyssa!

Justin & Soquani | e-session

Tuesday, April 12th, 2016

Spring is here and love is in the air and wedding bells are just around the corner for these two. Justin & Soquani are great friends from CrossFit Mt. Juliet and I’m excited for this next chapter in their lives. Justin literally knocked Soquani off her feet when he proposed…from the back of their boat while Soquani was wake surfing. So was so surprised she fell right off the board, resulting in Justin jumping in to find out what the answer was.  These two a great fun to be around and I know their wedding is going to be quite the celebration!

She Said Yes!

Tuesday, January 14th, 2014

I recently had the opportunity to take part in a fun, covert mission of shooting a proposal. Troy was planning a romantic evening full of surprises and wanted his proposal to his girlfriend, Kline,  documented. Troy is a builder here in Nashville and they are in the midst of building a house overlooking downtown. On their way to dinner, they stopped in at the house  to check on something and he succeeded in surprising Kline with his set up of candles, wine and a photo book of their relationship in the room that will be their future bedroom. She was thrilled with the book, and even happier when Troy dropped to a knee and proposed. After some time to soak it all in, we went up to their top floor deck with a beautiful view of the Nashville skyline for some portraits to mark the occasion. Congratulations Troy and Kline!

Doug & Julie

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Well, according to the calendar, spring is here. You wouldn’t know it by looking out the window today and seeing freezing rain falling from the grey sky, but we got a taste of it the other day. In addition to warm temperatures and chirping birds, love was in the air, especially between these two. Doug and Judy will be tying the know next month and wanted to get some portraits done to have made into a guest signature book. We had a great time and brought Doug’s adorable granddaughter, Avery, along to add a pinch of cuteness. Enjoy, and congratulation Doug and Julie.
