Tye turns One!

Tuesday, June 27th, 2017

Time for another birthday! This time it is Tye, and again we are left wondering where another year has gone. This sweet boy almost always has a smile on his face. I say almost because as you’ll see below, a popped birthday balloon is no smiling matter. I will give him credit, where most 12 month-old kids would have started screaming when a big balloon pops in their hands, Tye kept his composure and didn’t shed a tear, but he made sure his big pouty lip let everyone know he was not happy. But within minutes he was all smile again, mostly laughing at his silly sisters, Carson and Claire. Always love spending time with this family and have enjoyed being part of their memories since Carson was a few days old. Till next time…Nashville Children's Portraits

The fall is one of the busiest times for me and when I get to see so many of my long time clients. I love reliving the past year with them and seeing how much the kids have grown. And while it is a joy seeing long time friends again, it is always great to meet fresh faces and start new relationships. I met Luke and his parents a few weeks ago and was able to do a fall session with him the other day on a fabulous fall afternoon.  Luke has a gorgeous mop of sandy blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes and a crazy amount of all-boy energy.  We ran, we rolled in the leaves and had a good old sword-stick fight. These are the days that memories are made from.

Love this little girl! With those piercing eyes, her soft cheeks and her adorable little grins, how could you not just fall for her.  Of course I fell for her 2 and half years ago when I fist met her, and have loved watching her grow over the years. She was full of laughs and energy this day and had a blast playing in the leaves.
